When the arts and the sciences merge… Beauty manifests

What can be more mesmerising than admiring the beauty of a sunset, with all its pinky orangey colours, sitting behind a peaceful sea or a majestic mountain?
Or admiring dolphins dancing along with us when we sail? Or experiencing the cycle of life while observing birds coupling and nesting, their offspring hatching their eggs?
The infinity of nature provides us with the luxury of its own art, its own creativity, in an endless wave of adaptation and rebirth of new species dancing with evolution…
Nature is art, it sparks positive emotions and fills us with that spiritual reconnection with our own Being, our own Self.
Science is just its servant, it is the translator of its mystery to our human understanding, it is the lens with which we can observe its patterns through our rational mind.
But we have confused these roles, our ego has created a science-centric view of life and nature, relegating the artistic essence of Nature to a lower level in the scale of priorities.
We need to go back to understanding nature from an arts lens, from that admiration and reconnection that will enable humanity to really Feel what we need to do to ensure a sustainable future, for humanity, our planet, and all its species, with deep respect for their orchestrated interactions, their rhythms, their amplitudes…
Can you imagine what merging the arts and sciences can do? If we overlap these two lenses, observing and presenting Nature through a microscope and with beautiful art, will help us Feel as well as Observe, leading to an expansive wave of emotions that will reach out farther and farther, raising awareness and consciousness…
…making us understand what nature needs and, at the same time, reconnecting us with it, with our Self, with humanity, with all planetary elements, with the universe…
